The Ballroom at the Providence G

This was my first time photographing at the Ballroom at the Providence G and it’s quickly become one of my favorite venues!

They have a great space for ceremonies and cocktail hours on the roof and a great ballroom on the first floor. Megan and John’s wedding there was quite eventful! The beautiful bride and groom were in the middle of their ceremony when the fire alarm went off! We all stopped what we were doing. Should we leave? This had never happened there before! Luckily the fire chief came up to the roof to let us know what to do. We took the back staircase down to the street and saw lights flashing everywhere. We had to take advantage of this once in a lifetime event and the Providence fire department was nice enough to let us take pictures with their truck. After the building was safe we reset and Megan and John finally got to say I do.

Cozy Catering provided some very tasty and non-traditional food for the wedding. Inspired by Megan’s 3 sons they feasted on sliders, mozzarella sticks, and a pasta station! I’m always excited about the food at weddings. I can’t help it!
